*** ANSWERS TO FAQs *** - We board dogs under 30 pounds. - We accept puppies 1 year and older. - We require a meet-and-greet for all new clients. This allows you and us an opportunity to see how your dog reacts to a new environment. We understand that leaving your special friend alone in a different environment can be extremely daunting, so here's a little about ourselves: We are a married couple and proud parents of 3 kiddos. We have a 14-year old Beagle/Terrier mix named Moses who has been part of our family for about 10 years now. He is extremely friendly and makes his home in our living room. We live in a quiet residential neighborhood in Daly City and our home has a fenced backyard - ample room for safe outdoor play! We understand not every environment is a good fit for your special friend, so please don't feel obliged to place your pet in our care upon our first meeting. Allison and Gordon were amazing with our senior dog Winston! Very accommodating to his (many) needs, very caring and communicative with regular updates and pictures. Because of their extensive experience caring for other dogs, they took the time and effort needed to help Winston acclimate to his new environment. During our initial meet & greet, Allison and Gordon made us immediately feel at ease that our senior dog would be cared for lovingly and attentively. Overall, we would not hesitate to ask Allison & Gordon to watch our dog again!

Sasha is always well taken care of. In fact, Allison called me because I forgot to bring some pills. Fortunately, it wasn't anything serious, but it was nice to know she remembered from previous visits and called me late that night out of concern.

Our backyard is fenced in (fence height about 6 feet). It is mostly concrete patio with an artificial grass patch. In addition to our backyard, we have an enclosed outdoor lanai for lounging. Your pup will have access to the backyard, lanai, and the main floor of our home (including the living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room).

To best care for your dog, we we will need to know about any personality or behavior traits (ie: friendly, anxious, cautious, likes/dislikes children, likes/dislikes other dogs, house-trained, etc). You are the expert when it comes to your dog's needs, so please share any information you'd like us to know to provide a customized experience for your pup!
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog We are home throughout the day, so your dog will rarely be left unsupervised. On occasions when we need to leave the house, we have designated indoor areas where the dogs will feel safe, and we usually leave dogs separated from one another when we're not around. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We like to mimic your dog's at-home sleeping arrangement as much as possible, so please feel free to bring his/her own doggy bed or crate if that's what your dog is used to at home. Feeding We’ll follow your instructions for feeding; please bring the food and bowls that your pup is familiar with - this will help them acclimate to a new place. Play When they’re not sunbathing in the living room, the dogs are in the backyard for playtime and potty breaks. You are welcome to bring your dog’s favorite toy, and we’ll put it to good use!

Availability
Allison works full-time in a home office while Gordon homeschools our three kids. Needless to say, we will be actively present and available for your dog during their whole stay, both day and night. :)
