Pet care experience
Mark (my husband) & I have had our own dog forever. We lost our last dog when he reached 18+ & had a tumor in his heart. We had to have him put down at that point. We care for each & every dog like our own. We do have a large fenced-in yard, dog toys, beds, blankets & dishes.

Gloria and Mark did an excellent job of taking care of Hershey while I was out of town for 2 days. I would recommend her anytime and I will probably request her services in the future. It was very important for the (meet and greet) session to have the dog adjust to the sitters. When I dropped off my dog, he was very anxious to go with them.
This is a glowing review for Gloria. She truly loves dogs. She and her husband hosted a meet-and-greet visit which helped our dog get acquainted with her before the first overnight stay. Their home is very clean and dog-friendly. While we were traveling, Gloria kept us updated with text messages and cute photos of our dog, which was reassuring. She carefully followed instructions on giving medicine. Our dog was relaxed and comfortable during this stay because Gloria is kind, confident, and caring. We will definitely call on Gloria again for dog sitting!
Gloria is just the best! Olive loves staying with her. We call it “Olive’s Vacation” when we take her to see Gloria and Mark. Gloria and Mark are such kind people, and we truly trust them knowing they’ll take the best care of Olive.
Gloria took great care of Asta! She sent us several pictures to keep us updated on how Asta was doing. Asta seemed to have a great time.

Having a large fenced-in yard, it makes it easy to go out & play with them. We enjoy taking pictures of them while they are here to send to their parents so they will know how they are doing! We make sure the beds, blankets, toys, and dog dishes are cleaned & the water is replaced often. We use the owner's feeding schedule.

We always ask to meet the parents & dogs before they stay here. We need the dog's names & ages. Name & number of their vet. Emergency names & numbers. Are they UTD on shots? Do they get along with other dogs or people? Are there special needs for them? Are they house-broke? How do they let you know they need to go out? How often & is there a set time to eat? Do you free-feed? How do they handle being left alone if that happens?
A typical day
We have a safe & friendly neighborhood that we love walking in when the weather is nice. Our backyard is fenced in & enjoy playing ball with the dogs. Inside we have dog toys, dishes, blankets, beds & some outfits that we sometimes put on the dogs, take pictures & send to their "parents" so they will know they are ok.

I am retired, Mark is semi-retired & he works outside of our home but when he is home, he enjoys spending time with each dog, inside the house playing or outside playing or walking the neighborhood. (Weather permitting.) Outside there is enough room for playing ball, chasing squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks & birds!
