I will make sure your furry friend gets absolutely everything he or she needs. I had a bichon frise growing up, helped with my roommate’s rescue cat for two years in college, and fostered cats while I was living in my first apartment in DC as well as in-house cat sat for my neighbor on and off for two years. This included tasks such as feeding her cat Winnie regular doses of her medicine. Though I am new to Rover, I am not at all new to cherishing and pampering a furry companion. It will be my pleasure to keep your dog or cat company by walking and petsitting them while you’re away. I am more than happy to discuss specific requests, because I know every pet has a unique personality and needs different things to make them happy or keep them entertained and healthy. Thank you in advance for entrusting me with the care of someone who is undoubtedly very special to you!

Gloria was amazing on the app and off the app. She has the heart of gold. Not only did she watch my pup on such short notice. But I ran into a situation where my pup was kidnapped by the second rover sistter @AMBER HARDING of Alexandria . Amber picked up my pup from Gloria when I realized I needed more time. Amber blocked me then notified Gloria that she had plans to take my pup to an animal shelter. Gloria reached out to me to give me the info on where she could have been. When I arrived she was not there however I did find her at another shelter. It’s not about what she did it’s the fact that she did something. Some people don’t get involved or stay quiet. But because of this woman right here I have my dog back after a long 3 hour search! So thank you for the care you provided not only my pup but for me as well! Your communication is awesome! She even had a work meeting she was getting ready for and still decided to watch my hyper ass dog. You’re a real one Gloria God sent! Thank you!
Gloria did a great job taking care of my pup for the day. I appreciated how she did a virtual meet and greet beforehand to make sure she knew about his schedule, habits, and needs. Throughout the day, she sent photos and kept me updated on how it was going. Totally recommend her!

I have no other pets, so there are no worries about whether or not your pet will get along with others. I live in a two bedroom apartment where there’s plenty of room for your pet to run around, as well as a front yard and Quincy Park is right across the street that would be perfect for any daytime walks. There is also a grassy front yard for potty breaks. As for cats, I currently have cat bowls, a litter box, and toys, if needed as well.

Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or behaviors that I should account for. If medicine needs to be administered let me know the dosage and frequency - I’ve had practice ranging from hiding pills in treats sneakily to administering daily ear drops to a particularly feisty cat.
A typical day
On a typical day, I would welcome your furry companion into my home with open arms and set up the supplies or any toys they need. I would let them familiarize themselves with the house and make sure that I take them out on potty breaks frequently and scoop the litter every day if a cat. I would take your dog (or cat, if they like!) to Quincy park right across the street - it’s a beautiful park with lots of trees, lots of leaves on the ground to play with and lots of space to run around in. And of course I would be playing photographer the whole day in case I can capture a particularly funny or aesthetic snap to send you!

I work virtually full-time from home, and my boyfriend does too, so we are able to support your pet staying over at our 2 bedroom apartment.
