Pet care experience
I’m an active senior with a passionate love of animals. I don’t drive, but I do have dependable transportation. I was webmaster for a veterinary clinic for 11 years. Since childhood I’ve lived with and cared for many different types of animals from dogs, cats, and bunnies to a guinea pig, ferret, and hamster, even a rescued box turtle and now alpacas. I have experience with pets from bottle fed puppies and kittens to seniors who have the usual signs of aging such as blindness, deafness, arthritis, etc. Presently, we have 3 very spoiled 8 year-old cats rescued at 3 weeks old and 4 alpacas. All three of our cats require medication for heart conditions and other health issues. We raised a family of American Eskimo dogs from birth (bottle fed) until they crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 17 & 18 years old. This is the first time in my life I haven’t had a dog. I absolutely love our cats, but I sure do miss having a dog’s companionship.

Both my cat and dog loved Gloria. She sent me pictures of the animals through out the weekend. My cat, Tanzy doesn’t like anyone and she loves up on her immediately. Lucy loves everyone. I will be differently using her again for pet and house sitting.
Faye (Gloria) was absolutely phenomenal. It was evident that our dogs loved her. She played with them, worked on their obedience, brought them toys, took them for walks, and spent so much time with them. She provided consistent communication and updates throughout her stay and even made them a website so we could follow updates. We will definitely be rebooking Faye as she was great with our pups and is one of the kindest people I’ve had the opportunity to meet. Highly recommend!

Due to our spoiled cats, I cannot board pets in our home. More importantly I also strongly feel pets are less stressed, happier, and more comfortable in their own home environment. I can assure you that I would love and care for your pets as I do my own. My attention would be focused on assuring both their emotional and physical needs are taken care of as well as making my visit as much fun for them as possible. I will do everything possible to make sure my time with your pet is an extremely positive experience.

It is important for me to know your pet’s general personality. Do they have any health issues, or things that I should look out for regarding their well being? Is your pet outgoing and energetic wanting lots of play time or are they more the quiet laid back sort. What is their usual schedule. I like to keep daily routines as normal as possible. What about diet restrictions? Allergies? Are they allowed treats? Bits of my dinner? Are they allowed on the furniture? Beds? Do they have any special habits I should know about? Do they have any behavior issues such as chewing, excessive barking, aggressive, anxiety, etc. What is their favorite toy?
A typical day
Pets are like people, each one is different. I will adjust activities according to your pet, it's personality it's needs and wants. I will play games, take short walks, or just snuggle if that's what your pet desires.
