Cheerful, Pet Loving Vet Student!
Pet care experience
I'm Glee! I am studying to be a veterinarian at Lincoln Memorial University CVM - graduating in May 2024! I took a brief hiatus from Rover while I was studying abroad. I have been a Veterinary Assistant at two Banfield Pet Hospitals in Colorado - as part of their Student Job Program - and have been an intern at multiple veterinary practices in Colorado, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia over the past 10 years. I have been a foster mom, shelter volunteer, pet owner, pet sitter, dog walker, and “dog-nanny” for a geriatric dog. I'm an animal enthusiast! I have owned and cared for large breeds as well as small. I love dog sitting and have two of my own. I also can cat sit and care for exotics. I’ve even taken care of a pet pig or two. My availability varies due to clinical year and my new job as a veterinarian. *****Why I love dog sitting: I've loved dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Chow, Sheeba, and then a Great Dane, Harley. My family has a Golden Retriever, Tucker, and I dogsat for my brother-in-law's Shih Tzu, Wilson, for TWO YEARS and loved EVERY MINUTE. I have dogsat (both traveling and in-home) for various breeds that include but are not limited to: Great Danes, Chihuahuas, Beagles, Chow Chows, Dachshunds, Corgies, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Pit/Bully Breeds, Mastiffs, French Bulldogs, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Huskies, Border Collies, Chiweenies, Terriers, Boxers, Bull Dogs, Poodles, Bishon Frise, Pomeranians, Pugs, Pointers, Whippets, Greyhounds, Irish Wolfhounds, etc... I am an avid dog lover and am currently studying to be a veterinarian. I'm also a cat-lover and exotic-animal lover, as well. :) I live with my husband, and we have three cats who simply hide under my bed if other dogs are around that they aren’t sure of. My daughter is 13 and spends a great deal of time here, as well. *****My experience administering medication: I have experience with oral medications - as well as, intramuscular, intravascular, and subcutaneous injections and fluid administration.
Reviews
Glee was incredible as always!
Ivy’s stay with Glee over Thanksgiving was her first time away from us (she’s only 5 mos old). Glee made us feel very assured that Ivy was in good hands. She kept us up to date with a lot of pictures and texts. Ivy was happy, excited and had a great time. She came home very tired for a couple of days. Thank you Glee!
It’s hard to leave on a trip and enjoy yourself when you leave your furrbabies behind. We have had a few bad experiences with pet boarding places, so we resorted to only leaving town when my parents could watch them or if we could take them with us which is difficult with large dogs and a cat. I’m so glad we found Glee, I think our pets had a better on their little vacation with her then we did on our trip! We received tons of picture and video updates throughout. She took are energetic pup out to throw the ball and on hikes and snuggled with our older lab who has hip problems and needed medication. All of our pets were in good spirits when we came to pick them up, I would definitely recommend using her if you want peace of mind while you are away!
Glee is AMAZING! I had to be out of town for 10 days for a surgery and had absolutely zero worries while I was away, because Glee cared so well for my babies! She went above and beyond what was expected, and we are eternally grateful to her! Pretty sure my pets miss her, too :)

It’s always difficult to leave your babies when you travel, but I do my best to make them feel comfortable and happy. These are your furbabies, and you want the best for them - you want to know that they are enjoying themselves and feel at home. I know how it feels to worry about them, to wonder if they are having a good time and are safe and sound. I always take pictures and videos to help set your minds at ease. I will always treat your babies as if they were my own.
Information Glee A. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know if a dog is okay being around other animals and if dog parks are enjoyable for them. I'd like to know how frequent (if at all) accidents occur and any phobias the dog may have. Also - any food restrictions and allergies.
A typical day
In the past, with permission from previous clients, I have taken my guests to dog parks for a safe and fun “off leash” experience. I intend to play with, snuggle, and love your pet as if he or she were my own. My goal is to make them comfortable - no matter their size or age - to provide them a safe and fun haven.
