Im a certified Veterinary Assistant
Pet care experience
I grew up around all kinds of dogs. From little Chihuahuas, to a Great Dane. My mom was constantly getting puppies and I took care of them. I've always been great about paying attention to their health and getting them seen right away if there is something of serious concern. I'm a certified Veterinary Assistant, but I don't currently work in the field. I love dogs and cats, and have a golden retriever who is absolutely sweet with all animals. I also have an adopted pittie mix, who has a lot of energy haha I started my rover sitting/walking services in Colorado Springs and had many wonderful clients. I am looking forward to offering my services to you and your fur baby here in the Fort Walton, Mary Esther, and Navarre area! I am currently available and have spots open for drop-ins and walks! :) I am actively accepting boarding requests with new and repeating clients!
Reviews
VERY ATTENTIVE AND FLEXIBLE. VERY KIND! OVERALL 10/10
Gladys was super awesome with my dog Beau! She communicated well and would update me daily. She even worked around my schedule changes to drop/pick him up. Highly recommend!
Gladys was great at communication and took good care of our dog!
Gladys was great with my babies! This was our first time leaving them and they were super anxious but she handled every obstacle they threw her way, she even hand fed one when they wouldn't eat :) I feel very confident in leaving my loved ones in her care. Great a communicating and sending updates!

Safety, trust & environment
I crate or find a way to separate all doggos at feeding time and any time I wont be home to keep an eye on them. I have a fenced yard, but I don't leave them outside for long without supervision, for safety reasons.

Information Gladys P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your pet is cat, dog, and child friendly. I have 3 dogs in our home and have 2 kids under the age of 10. I would also like to know the level of training your dog has. If they have no training, know some commands, or if they are advance trained and use certain commands/signals. If your doggo has any behavioral issues like marking, chewing, counter surfing for food, or being an escape artist, i'd like to know beforehand. We do not allow pets on furniture!
A typical day
My day during the week usually starts around 5 am. First thing I do is let doggos out after waking my kiddos up. Then bring them back in and do feedings for anyone who has a morning feeding schedule. I leave for work by 0630 and I am usually home between 4-5:30pm depending on the week. I do come home for lunch and let them out to play if its gonna be a longer day or if your doggo eats 3 times a day, then i'll schedule in the time to get them their lunch. When I get home, we go outside again, and then do dinner feedings. They'll free roam the house until bed time and get to hang out with me and my kiddos and any other dogs I may be watching.
