Growing up with pugs, and having had my own, taught me the art of patience. I am a former full-time dog walker/sitter/boarder for dogs under 5lbs to over 60lbs, ranging in breeds and ages. I have experience administrating medication for sick and elder dogs, changing diapers, caring for special needs (mostly blind and deaf dogs), assisting in walk training, providing spa care (cleaning dog folds, soothing raw paws, massages), and dressing dogs in protective gear for harsh weather conditions before walks. My soft spot is for elderly dogs. I like to take my time getting to know each dog to understand their behavior and quirks so I can best work with them (and you). A favorite bonding of mine, is taking dogs on dates to parks, coffee shops, or long walks and have a mini photoshoot. I have a hard rule on not allowing socialization with other dogs on the street and will not take dogs to a dog park because of the unpredictable nature of dogs’ reactions. However, if it is important, I am open to taking a walk or park visit with the client to observe the dog’s interactions to ensure they can socialize with other dogs.
