Pet care experience
I work from home and we love walks! Your pup will get to rest, play, walk, and run in my big fenced in back yard, and can come and go inside and out since I'm home all day. My 3yo husky-shepherd mix, Hazel, is an excellent hostess! She is polite and loves to play but will also leave alone if your dog isn't so playful.

I’ve known Ginny for a couple years now and my own dog, Margo, has been the lucky recipient of Ginny's patience, understanding, and affection. Ginny doesn't just stop at providing basic care; she goes above and beyond. And talk about being responsible – when she adopted her pup, Hazel, she became this incredible pet parent. From training Hazel to be the goodest girl to ensuring she gets loads of exercise, Ginny's on top of it. So yeah, if you want someone who will treat your furry friend like their own, Ginny's the way to go. She's not just good with pets; she's great with them. Trust me, your pet's going to be in the best hands.
Ginny was a wonderful sitter for our dog Wrigley! She worked with our schedule and sent photos or text updates daily to tell us how he was doing. She made sure he was comforted, and asked questions before trying anything new. Cannot recommend her enough to love on our dog!

I have a large fenced in yard with lots of space to run and play. Crates are welcome if that is your dog's comfort zone, but not required. My house conveniently has lots of doors so it is easy to separate during feeding times if helpful.

A typical day
The urban wilderness trails are just 1/4mile away and we walk or run those daily, at least 1-2 miles and sometimes up to 4-5. I have indoor games for rainy days, and a big back yard for extra play, especially if they get along well with Hazel!

Availability
I work from home so I'm really flexible and attentive to feeding schedules and letting them out when needed. I take my dog on a daily walk on our nearby South Knox trails, usually go at least 1-2 miles. Hazel will lead the way!
