Growing up my family has always had dogs and the one who really impacted my life was my yellow lab named Ryker. He was my best friend and was so protective and sweet alongside with my beagle names Berkley. Ryker was the reason I became interested in working with animals. Earlier this year Ryker was hit by a car, the person who hit him left him laying there to sufferer, until my family was able to get to him and take him to the vet. After this had happened I took a few weeks off of school to go help take care of him. Which took some special skills like cleaning up after him, showing him affection and giving him his meds. This was a very hard job as Rykers pelvis and hip was completely broken. I still to this day go home on the weekends and help take care of him, as I am in school still! I miss my fur babies at home and would love to show love to one of your fur babies!
