Pet care experience
I am mature, reliable, responsible and at ease with all types of dogs and cats. I am certified in K-9 1st aid & CPR. I've cared for dogs up to 165lbs, and my own dog is just 6lbs. They're all furry bundles of love as far as I'm concerned. I am comfortable administering medicines, special diets, and accommodating physical challenges. I am also extremely conscientious when it comes to the care of your home. My dog often travels with me for overnights, and he is a mellow, well behaved, non-dominant 6lb sweetheart. If your pets don't like newcomers, he respects that and keeps his distance. Your fur babies also get lots of love and belly rubs; and you'll receive daily pics, videos and text updates.
Reviews
Ginger is very responsible and a total dog lover. She was unbelievable with my lab, Mick. One of the more memorable experiences was when he had emergency surgery the night before we were leaving to go out of town. It was trip we had to take and Ginger took excellent care of my boy. It was a very stressful time to leave him, and she could not have taken better care of him. I trust her implicitly with my dog and my home.
Ginger has watched my dogs many times. She is an awesome person and a caring, patient, responsible and fun-loving dog sitter. I have three somewhat crazy dogs and I totally trust Ginger with all of them and their "craziness." I would highly recommend her as a loving/caring dog-sitter.

Information Ginger S. would like to know about your pet
I love all breeds! I'll need to know your routine for care and feeding, including any medications and how you administer them; how often and what types of treats to give, and whether the dog has any allergies, injuries or 'sore spots' I should avoid when giving love. I need to know the dog's behavior on a leash; if it's ok to let strangers pet your dog and for him/her to greet other dogs we encounter on our walks; and if there are any other behavioral quirks I should be aware of.
A typical day
We will walk wherever you suggest; but I prefer to avoid dog parks. It's tough to maintain control over a new dog when there are too many variables. If you have a yard, we'll play fetch, hide and seek, frisbee or whatever your pup prefers. There will also be plenty of belly rubs and butt scratches!
