Pet care experience
My husband and I are a retired couple and we have ALWAYS had pets in our home. Over the years, we have had dogs, cats, and even a gerbil. Yes, our daughter just had to have one. I have often said that if we ever win the lottery, one of the very first things we would do is establish a non-profit/no kill animal shelter. Currently, our pets include a 15 lb. dachshund (who was a rescue) named Bartholomew (Bart) who is 7 years old and a 43 lb. Vizsla named Charley...she's a girl and is 2 1/2 years old. Ginger has taken care of my dog many times. I highly recommend her! Shay loves Ginger! I never worry when I am gone because I know that Ginger will take care of Shay like she is her own. You can tell Ginger loves the dog by the way the dog loves Ginger. When we are gone Ginger walks, feeds, and spends time playing with Shay. Shay loves to be in the backyard, but is terrified when it rains. Ginger will make a special trip back over if she thinks it might rain just to make sure Shay is alright. Call her! You will love her!
