Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, tortoises, fish & rodents since I was around the age of 8. I have enjoyed professional pet sitting since 2016.

Ginger cared for our four dogs (two are high-energy jack russells), two cats and our home during the four days we were away. They accepted her caring spirit right away and I am very pleased to share it was a fabulous experience. Ginger went above and beyond. I could not be more pleased to write a recommendation for Ginger Hefley. I have known Ginger for over 25 years, as she helped care for our now-adult daughter from infancy through age 13, and we had a cat during most of that time. I have been extremely fortunate to know her for all of this time, and can 100% guarantee that she is reliable, responsible, and loving of all she is around, including pets! She has cared for our kitties in our absence many times, and she always does more than expected, including giving extra time, attention, and love. I have never hesitated to ask for her services, and have always been more than pleased. Ginger always has a smile on her face and in her heart. Any pet that is watched over by Ginger is very lucky indeed.
If you are looking for someone to care for your pet as you would( maybe better) look no further. Ginger will love on your pet, give it lots of snuggles and make sure the pets routine is followed. She’s been doing this for years and has taken great care of our three cats.
Ginger and her Husband acted as Housesitter for us. They took excellent care of our Cat and left our home in perfect shape. We found them to be trustworthy and fun to work with. We recommend their pet sitting abilities and hope to use them again in the future.

I love pets and spend much of the day in the home where I'm pet sitting. I enjoy holding, petting, brushing & feeding pets. I don't mind scooping cat litter 2-3 times a day. Picking up after a dog is one thing I'm particular about. I don't mind it at all. Keeping fresh water & plenty of food available for the pets is important to me. The pets are my number one priority. I'm also comfortable leaving the pets for 4 - 6 hours on some days, if my doing so is alright with the pet owners. I will treat your pets with loving care and respect.
Information Ginger H. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog lurch quickly after squirrels, other dogs, cats, etc.? I prefer a well-behaved dog that does not pull on the leash. I would rather not sleep with dogs or cats but can do so if they don't keep me awake all night. Does your pet have a pet door & fenced yard?
A typical day
I will throw or kick a ball for your dog to chase or play a little "tug". I would love it if you have a plastic ball thrower. I will re-enforce dog training with treats or pets.

I'm retired and have enjoyed over 30 pet sits with friends or my husband since 2016. I can be called to pet sit for last minute emergencies, if I'm available.
