Pet care experience
I’m currently an employee of Bark n’ Roll Canine Care and Training located in North Reading as an Daycare and Boarding Attendant, as well as a training assistant to Beginner training classes for dogs of all ages! I have had the pleasure of taking care of many pets since I was a 13. I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, a painted turtle, as well as cared for friends, family and neighbors pets while attending college by walking, feeding, pet sitting and bathing, as well as some grooming when needed. I am currently studying to became a certified dog trainer and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. My career goal is to become a certified canine dog trainer as well as a dog handler/trainer in the canine agility field with my dream dog an Australian shepherd or Boarder Collie! In top of might current roles daycare and boarding roles with Bark n’ Roll I am also a dog sitter for many clients of the company as well as several of my own. I spend a good amount of time volunteering at our rescue facility Rock n’ Rescue helping to care for dogs that are boarding with us until they are placed in their forever homes or with a foster family until they are adopted! I am a force free - LIMA least invasive minimally aversive believer in the current field of dog training and daycare! Dogs should be given the chance to use their brains to make the best choice for them and to be able to work through other problem solving for them as the navigate the human world! They are the ultimate companions for unconditional love and accept us for who we are as long as we respect them and their comfort level and space! I currently walk friends dogs and sit both their canine and feline children cats as well as assist with feeding and bathing, and medication needs and pet sitting when they travel. I provide exercise and some training based on the owners current training regimen to stay consistent with the pets current routines. I also will pet sit if needed to provide the owner with the confidence that their pets are being cared for by an animal loving human as if the pets were my own. I may have a limited availability but am able to have some wiggle room with scheduling on occasion around my work schedule and a few clients as well.

Ginger is an extremely reliable pet owner and caretaker. She loves all animals, and goes out of her way to make sure they get the best care possible. She has taken great care of my two Maine Coon cats- they are always excited to see her!
Ginger, has been an amazing part of my little Brewster’s life. She had cared for him in ways only a pup mom does. She always made sure got enough exercise on each walk and always care for his safety as well, and would make sure to put a doggie seatbelt on him when driving him to the park. She was also able to help correct Brewster’s issues with eating different household items as well as providing assistance to potty train him, she has so much patience with the little fur babies. She’s truly caring and dogs love her cause she truly cares for them.
Ginger C. is a caring, responsible, and hard-working human. Her love for dogs is immediately clear. The times she spent with mine, she understood his needs, creating a great experience for him and carefree time for myself. Ginger and your dog will have a great time together!
Ginger has been the perfect pet sitter/walker for my dogs. She treats them as her own and I couldn’t be happier that she came into our lives. Ginger is so reliable and easy to get in touch with. Ginger goes above and beyond by sending me videos and pictures of my boys. She always has an update on how their day went. I highly recommend Ginger!

I’m happy to follow your house rules and tending to a cleaning regimen as well during my stay with your pet. I will treat your home and beloved pet with respect as if they were mine but by your house rules and care standards you set for my stay with them.

Please let me know if your pet has any behavior concerns that I should be aware of before walking your dog or introducing them to play that might provoke an unwanted behavior or fear. Please make me aware of training level you pet has completed and any special command words that will help us have a positive effective walk or play time together. I do not want to overlook your training or create any negative behaviors that have been previously corrected or endorse them if they are not what you have worked towards with them. I prefer to keep them on a consistent training regimen to help them learn and grown to live happy and harmoniously with you.
A typical day
I love to have fun with your pet by providing fun and mental stimulating games and activities that they will burn off some energy and keep them physically and mentally challenged. We will explore smells and physically challenge them as well as help them learn ways to play with puzzles to challenge them mentally and foster positive safe self-play while being monitored not micro managed. I can assist with setting a calm and structured walk and outdoor play while making sure we use caution for any triggers that may cause your pet to become anxious or uncomfortable. I will help keep your pet calm and comfortable during thunderstorms by helping them learn how to self soothe to not become overly dependent on their human care givers. I enjoy playing fetch with your pets as well as other activities that stimulate and engage them mentally and will always respect when they are not up to play or challenges as to allow them to have the choice to smell the grass or bushes and to self soothe and learn when they are curious.

Availability
I am currently employed with a dog daycare and boarding facility in North Reading, MA and am available to provide play time, walks, feeding and basic training as well. I am available before 2pm most weekdays unless I’m booked for private in home sittings during the week. Weekends varies depending on school vacation schedule when boarding numbers increase and or if I’m not already booked sitting a client with Bark n’ Roll or one of my own private clients. I can be available for overnight pet sitting as long as pets are able to be left in your home unattended while I go to my job from 3 to 9pm M-F and weekends are based on my availability. I will be sure pets are feed, walked and or get active play stimulation prior to leaving to work and will be sure I return promptly to take care of them after my shift. I am capable of cleaning your pet by giving dogs a bath and brushing as well as providing calming care for anxious pets while you are away. I love to make sure all pets in my care are happy and enjoy some enrichment activities to keep their brains exercises as much as their furry legs and bodies!
