Thank you for checking out my profile. There's several great sitters to pick from on Rover, so I appreciate you taking the time to select me. We are located in Piedmont (in-between Anderson and Greenville), just off of exit 35 (a couple minutes from Wren High School). If you choose me, you can rest assured knowing that your baby will be treated like one of my own while you're away. I will send daily updates, with pictures, so you'll know your baby is in good hands. Pet sitting comes with a lot of responsibility, and I take a lot of precautions to ensure your visit goes smoothly. why should you pick me❓ I love animals. I have a clean, safe home environment. Both of my daughters are grown and have moved out, so I have 2 spare bedrooms available for boarding. I have a very large fenced in back yard. There's a veterinarian 2.5 miles from my home, and I'm fully insured. I also have many years’ experience working with animals. I own "Ginger's Grooming", and have been a professional groomer for over 15 years. I know how some of those large boarding places can be, and how stressful it is trying to find your baby a safe place to stay while you're away. Huge dirty kennels, non-stop barking, employees who seem to pay more attention to their phone than anything else. Vacations should be relaxing. Worrying about boarding your best friend is the last thing you need during this time. I want to make boarding less stressful for you. I want to be the place I'd feel good about leaving my baby, so my goal is for you to leave us feeling that way. Frequently asked questions: ❓ What do I need to bring 🅰 Food, toys, blankets, crate, leash, harness, anything else you feel they would like to have during their stay. ❓ Do you keep my pet in a crate 🅰 Only If you request that they be crated at night. Otherwise, they'll enjoy a nice room during the night while we sleep, and are free to roam around the house with us during the day. ❓ Do you let your pets play with mine 🅰 ONLY if permitted by you. I have a very playful Goldendoodle who loves everything, but if you'd feel more comfortable with them not having any other animal interaction then we will certainly accommodate. ❓ Do you let my dog run around your back yard unsupervised? 🅰 Every dog gets to play in our back yard, but they are ALWAYS supervised. There is never a time where they would be left alone in the yard. We love to play fetch and roam around, but if your pup is a jumper we'll be sure to keep them tethered. ❓ Are you home 24 hours 🅰 No. We are here from 6:45AM until 7PM My tips for using Rover: 1. Check and see how close the sitter is to a vet in case of emergencies. 2. If at all possible, do a meet and greet. If they say no, this is a red flag. 🚩 3. During a meet and greet, have the sitter take your dog for a walk with you. Hand them the leash and see how they handle it. This is a good time to make sure they get your dog’s leash quirks. 4. Does the sitter's profile pic look like something that should be on e-harmony instead of Rover? This could be a 🚩 I can't wait to meet you and your fur baby!
