Certified in Pet CPR / First Aid! Hi, my name is Ginette and I was born and raised in Germany and moved to this beautiful island St Pete Beach in 2006. I am a huge animal lover and an experienced and loving pet caretaker. I'm vegan since many years (don't worry, I know your pet is not :)) and love animals more than anything in this world. I grew up with cats and dogs, volunteered at rescues and shelters in Europe as well as here in the U.S., trying to give all my love and attention to the furry babies. I took care of dogs of all breeds, sizes and age and cats as well.🐶🐕 I also had a chance to experience a dog boarding facility which was even called a pet motel or pet hotel and I was really shocked about the tight cages and kennels they were keeping the dogs in, the noise level and anxiety filled environment in which these pups had to stay for hours, sometimes even days or weeks. So I decided to become a member of Rover.com in order to provide a professional, loving, quiet and yet exciting and playful home away from home for a few hours for your doggie and would suggest it to every animal lover out there to do the same for the well being of our closest friends!🐾

I can only recommend Ginette to all animal friends who are looking for exceptional pet care! Ginette is absolutely amazing, very friendly, loves my pup Luna and Luna loves her. Whenever I know I have to work long hours or have a business dinner after work and don't want to leave luna by herself at home for that many hours, I contact Ginette. She picks her up at my home and gives her the best daycare ever! She always send me pictures of them taking walks in the park or on the dog beach, playing in the pool or Luna playing with another dog at the dog park. I really appreciate her concerns and these updates give me peace of mind and let me concentrate on my work without any worries about Luna. When Ginette drops her back off in the evening, Luna seems completely happy, satisfied and relaxed. Luna surely has had a better day than I did most of the time :)
I had only wonderful experiences with Ginette caring for my Bingo. She is so kind and passionate about animals and has a very positive attitude. Ginette sent me updates and pics at every visit. She always picked up my pup on time and dropped him back off at home as scheduled, one time even bathed and groomed without charging anything extra, she goes the extra mile for her dogs and customers. I had no ability to worry about Bingo even if I tried. I have used her previously and also will in the near future as soon as my work schedule will pick back up after the Corona crisis.
Ginette is great with my 2 dogs. She has such a sweet personality. She can keep up with the energy my Jack Russell has and is gentle n caring w my older dog who's 11 yrs. I completely trust her with my furbabies. They can't wait to see her when she watches them.

Dog vacation at a pool home in St Pete Beach!!! My husband and I own a house on St Pete Beach (3/2 plus Bonus Room) with a big fenced in yard and swimming pool. We don't have any kids or pets but I would love to care for and look after your furry baby :) We will take many walks during the day. There will always be doggie ice cream in my fridge as refreshment on a hot summer day, treats , lots of toys, dog beds, blankets , food and water bowls.

I don’t have any breed preferences, I love them all :) All I need to know from you now is the following: - diet and feeding instructions - bathroom routine - exercise schedule & sleeping habits - does your dog get along with other dogs - any allergies? - any medical or behavioral issues? - does your pup need medication during his stay? - current vet information - emergency contact Your dog must be up to date with its flea and tick preventative. You are more than welcome to schedule a meet & greet anytime! Please feel free to contact me with any further questions, I'm so excited to meet you and your pup :)
A typical day
We can go to the dog beach close by or walk down the street to the dog park or just have a vacation pool day, go jogging, play all day or just taking it slow, relax, sunbath, go for short or long walks, cuddle and watch the sunset. Your dog will be my best buddy in the time he is with me. I will adjust to your dogs preferences 100 % (diet, exercise routine, sleep pattern, activity level, medication etc.) You will only need to bring your pups food and treats and maybe his favorite toy, everything else is taken care of. I will always keep you updated with pictures/videos , so you can be assured that your darling is in good hands and having a great time :)

Availability
While my husband is working fulltime, I currently stay at home most of the day. I have my own car, so I gladly pick up your furbaby from home and drop him off as scheduled. Luckily my schedule is very flexible, so your pup will never be left alone , but with me and under my supervision at all times. I am very active and love to spend my time outdoors in nature, go jogging🏃🏼♀️practice Yoga 🧘🏼♀️ go to the park or walk on the beach 🌴swim in the pool 🏊🏼♀️etc and would love to share some of these activities with your furry baby (not the Yoga part, lol) But in case your dog is too young for this or a senior, I will of course adjust and cuddle or play with him all day, teach him tricks, administer medication or just rub his belly. You let me know what he likes and needs :) But I can assure you that I will treat your dog as if it were mine! This service might also be very interesting for tourists on vacation here. You can gladly bring by your dog for a few hours for playtime when you need some alone time , plan to visit the beach or amusement park , museum or go to a restaurant/ bar / shopping center or plan anything else where you can’t take your puppy with you. Let him have his own little vacation here , I will take care of him during the time you are busy.😊😎🤗🏡
