I just don’t know what to say other than GinaMarie lost my 13 year old deaf chihuahua. I received a panicked call from GinaMarie on the third day of my trip saying that she had left the door to my house UNLOCKED and it cracked open and she didn’t notice for 30 MINUTES that my dog was not in the house with her!! The level of carelessness and irresponsibility is shocking. She should not be housesitting in New Orleans for anyone if she doesn’t keep the doors to the house locked at all times. My precious dog was wandering the streets ALONE until a neighbor found him. I had to cancel my plans in California and call every neighbor I knew until someone saw a post online and returned him. It was a horrendous trip for me, being so far away and unable to do anything except panic. The only explanation she offered was that she locked the door when she wasn’t at home but left it unlocked while she was there. My door opens onto the street; in 4 years of using Rover and working with multiple sitters, I have never had to tell a sitter to lock the door at all times. She also didn’t tell me how or why she didn’t notice for a half hour that he wasn’t in the house with her!! Thank God my dog is safe but I do not at all recommend letting her take care of your home or your dogs. Again, I’m an avid Rover user for years and I’ve never had anything like this terrible trip happen.

GinaMarie was fantastic! She was very flexible with our schedule and willing to make it work for us. She came over for a meet and greet beforehand and assured us that she would be able to take care of our dog and fussy old cat, no problem. We went out of the country and it was great not having to worry about our fur babies. She gave us great peace of mind!
