A friend to animals
Pet care experience
I love animals and always have. I have cared for many dogs including Schnauzers, Poodles, Huskies, Pitbulls, Dutch Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Briards, Rottweilers, Dachshunds and more. I grew up with pets (and 5 younger siblings!) and cared for them as a child into my teenage years. I also have experience owning and caring for cats, lizards, fish, parakeets, hamsters, guinea pigs and chickens. I love spending time in the company of animals and hope to meet your pets soon!
Reviews
She is awesome
Gina is the best! We’re pretty sure our kitties look forward us being away so they can hang with their BFF Gina!
Gina took great care of Huckleberry during the holidays, bringing him on regular walks, giving him his meds and writing great visit notes. She is highly recommended!
Gina is the best! Professional, reliable and caring. Anyone would be lucky to work with her

Safety, trust & environment
Above all, every client has specific needs. I take direction well and I listen to what families want for their pets. I do my best to maintain the already established routine that my furry client has with their family and reinforce training that the family is working on. As a social worker with a background in mental health, my approach to the families I work with includes meeting clients where they are, asking questions, listening, and collaborating with families in order to best provide a calming, nurturing, healthy, balanced and fun experience to pets. I communicate with families with photos and updates throughout any service. Finally, I have a son who is 11 years old. He’s a mellow and sweet kid who is very athletic but also quite the homebody and book lover. He’s my partner when it comes to caring for animals and he is wonderful with dogs of all ages and activity levels.
Information Gina W. would like to know about your pet
Prior to caring for your pet, we’ll schedule an in-person and/or virtual meet and greet where I will gather all the information I might need to help your pet have the best possible experience with me! I’ll ask questions about medical history, allergies, commands your pet responds to, common behaviors, routines, grooming needs, likes/dislikes and more.
A typical day
I will take my dogs on long walks through local trails, neighborhood parks and green spaces. We will walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the some interesting sniffs. We will walk to the coffee shop and say hi to neighbors. We will walk my son to school in the morning at 7:30. We will practice yoga together. We’ll play with tug toys, run around the house and play fetch. Overall, we’ll have a blast!

Availability
I work from home and I have a flexible schedule. I am available to provide care, love and enrichment to your fur babe often! Typically I walk 3-5 miles over the course of a day for health purposes and I would love your dog to come with me! I practice yoga daily and animals are always welcome to participate. I am a routine-oriented person and I provide healthy structure, balance and stability to animals while they are away from their families.
