I have 30+ years of pet care experience and have been working in the veterinary field for over 11 years, having spent the last 8 years working at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in South Deerfield. I have great attention to detail and knowledge of what to look out for if there is a concern with your pet, and I am also versed in pet first aid and CPR. I love getting to know new people and their furry family members. I have specific experience caring for dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I do not have any knowledge of the more exotic animals like birds or reptiles but I am not adverse to learning about them though. I do not currently own dogs because I do not live in an apartment that allows them, however I would definitely have one if I could. I grew up with dogs and my family used to breed Cocker Spaniels. I currently own 6 cats, 3 of who are on daily medications and 2 of those which require special diets and are also "special needs." I offer dog, cat, and small mammal care including meals, walking, waste clean-up (including litterbox cleaning), playtime, medicating, and overnight care. I truly treat each pet as if they were my own and love learning about their needs and am especially fond of giving cuddles. I do work a varied schedule with my job so my spouse and I will often work together with pet sitting opportunities so that we are essentially available 24/7 to attend to your pet's needs.
