Experienced pet-sitter & dog walker

Pet care experience

I’m a registered nurse and life-long animal lover, I started as a vet tech and pet store employee in my earlier years, and am now opening my home to the wonderful community of locals. In the event that your companion is in need of some special care, I am comfortable administering daily injections, oral medication, and wound care. I am willing to work with clients and dogs to find a walking/drop-in schedule that works. Do you have a dog that needs a good run? I’m now offering pick-up/drop-off with a run service. I’m flexible depending on the intensity that the individual dogs needs. A tired dog is a happy dog! My philosophy: Your pet's happiness and well-being is my number one priority. A kennel is the last place a dog should be when their family is away, especially when care is available in their own home! About my dogs and I: I have two dogs, Sagan and Cosmo, and we are big into adventure -- we love long walks around the town, runs through the local parks, and hiking in the wonderful wilderness of the northwest. We are always open to company on our travels and are regular attendees of the trails and parks. Sagan is a mild mannered dog, I’m yet to meet someone she doesn’t get along with. Cosmo cares about nothing more than where his ball is, usually, but he loves a good playmate.

Gina was great! We have 2 cats, one of whom has been feeling some high stress due to a stray cat outside. Gina was very accommodating and willing to spend a little extra time making sure that they were both doing ok. She went above and beyond in terms of the time she spent playing with them and she never forgot to send us a "check-in" photo every day. We will definitely trust our boys' care to Gina again in the future.

Gina was a delight to work with. She was very sweet and accommodating. LuLu, our black lab, returned to us happy and healthy. Who could ask for more? I would highly recommend Gina to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!

Information Gina R. would like to know about your pet

Is your dog up to date on his vaccines? Is the dog aggressive? How does he/she interact with other people, children, and animals? Is he/she on any medication? Can your dog behave well on and off the leash? Does he or she experience separation anxiety? What sort of training would you like to upkeep?

A typical day

We are an active household, whether it be biking, hiking, or trail running. We hope your pup can join us on these adventures, although, we have three acres here on the property for those that would prefer to mosey and sniff. Your dog's sleeping arrangement; Dogs are allowed on the furniture, but some dogs prefer their own bed that smells like home. Time I'll spend with your dog: All dogs are different; some need constant play, others prefer to stay on the couch. I cater to the needs of the individual dog and requests of the owner. When a dog is in my care, they are the priority of my attention and will not spend extended time alone. Time I'll spend with your dog At least one long if not two trail walks a day, weather permitting. Extra house-sitting services Yes, absolutely. I would be glad to help out with home tasks.
