Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Gina and I’m new to Rover, and new to Lexington County! I have over 15 years of experience doing personal pet sitting for all types of animals including dogs, cats, fish, and more! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I love walking my neighborhood or visiting local parks to give your fur babies some exercise and fresh air. Some responsibilities I’ll take on (but not limited to) are feeding, walking, boarding, taking pets to vet appointments, administering basic medicines, minor grooming, and providing a fun, safe companionship! I am reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and will treat your pet as if they were one of my own! No pet is too big, loud, or rambunctious! My experience includes caring for dogs with anxiety, hearing impairments, and senior dogs. I am able and willing to give your pet the full attention and care that it deserves.

Gina is absolutely wonderful!! I contacted her last minute about keeping my husky and she was available next day. Her pricing is reasonable and she sends so many pictures and updates! I have never felt so comfortable with leaving my pup with someone before. I wish I could give her a hundred stars! I'll be a repeat customer for life if she is available

Thanks to Gina my rambunctious 10 month old puppy was safe & happy while I visited with lifelong friends & attended the funeral of another lifelong friend. Gina sent pictures & assurances of my puppy’s wellbeing & that he was “no trouble”, a welcome fib. I didn’t know such a service existed but am very glad Rover led me to Gina.

My home is smoke-free, and I do not have any pets or small children. Any messes are cleaned up immediately. Water bowls are changed and rinsed out regularly. The environment will always be sanitary and free of anything that may harm your pet. Doors are always locked if left alone and at night. Personal references available upon request. Hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! ☺️

A typical day
Neighborhood walks, playing fetch or Tug of War, and plenty of snuggles is a perfect day! I am happy to take your pup to the farmers markets or doggy parks if that would be a good fit!

Availability
I work from home leaving me with a flexible and open schedule to care for your pet. Toileting is typically every 2-4hrs, but can certainly be adjusted to accommodate your pet’s care routine. I am pretty flexible with requests and am open to discuss any requests or concerns to better suit your needs. I love walking the Lake Murray Dam or nearby parks after work and checking out other outdoor trails and events. If suitable, I’d love to bring your dog along as my companion!
