I love all dogs and I have experience working with a large variety of breeds, ages, behaviors and personalities. I volunteered with the Seattle Humane Society in the dog program for over three years and was a Dog Behavior Program Assistant, helping to work with dogs that have some behavior quirks to get them ready for the adoption floor. I have worked with everything from Chihuahuas to Pitties to Hounds! I have encountered resource guarding, mouthiness, shy dogs, fear aggressive dogs, dog reactive dogs - you name it and truth be told - I love working with them all (even the well behaved ones ;-) I did many site field trips for those same pooches and sometimes even had them over for a staycation at our place - hence the multiple dogs you see in the photos! I own three rescues of my own. Two German Shepherd Dogs coming in around 100 lbs. and a senior Chihuahua mix. I have had senior dogs of my own, and seeing as they had some health issues over the years, I am also comfortable giving medications if needed and if your pup is injured and needing some special TLC, can work with them on any physical therapy program they may be on! My current GSD does physical therapy on equipment in our garage 3-5 times per week! You tell me what your dogs needs and habits are and I will do my best to stick to those! Though I am not a runner, if your pup needs to hike, we will do that! If your pup needs to go for a couple of mile walk, we will do that! If your pup just needs to chill on the couch and get some massage time, we will do that! If you want me to work on some commands that you are working with your pup on while I am there - of course we will! Unfortunately, I do have one of those M-F, 9-10 hour a day jobs, so during the week visits can be difficult, though I have stayed a client's house almost two weeks and just lived my normal work life but came home to their house each day instead of mine. If you are looking to get away for a weekend or are taking a weekend day to go celebrate an occasion with your friends and need someone to come walk your pup or stay with them... I am your gal! I think your dogs would be most comfortable in their home and so I will go to you ;-)
