The most important thing about looking after a dog is making sure you cater for their individual needs. Dogs are part of the family and would love for their owners to trust me enough to look after them :) I currently use the app "Borrow my dog" when studying at university to walk other dogs in the surrounding area as I miss my own so much when I'm away from home! I have grown up around dogs since I was born and believe I am naturally good with taking care of all different breeds and sizes, and ensuring they get the most out of their day, which is lots of cuddles and affection, as well as exercise whether that be a long run, or a short walk around the corner for the senior dogs or ones with little legs :)
