Responsible Animal Lover
Pet care experience
Ever since I was a small child, animals have held a huge piece of my heart. I grew up working on a small farm and learned from a young age how to properly care for horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats, and more. As I grew into a young adult, I was always the go-to animal sitter when friends and family needed a compassionate hand they could count on. Interning at the local veterinary hospital during high school continued to broaden my experience and knowledge working with various breeds and the adoption of our family's dog, Buster, confirmed my discovery that the love you give to a dog will be received back tenfold. Throughout the years I have continued to foster my deep patience, understanding, and love for animals of all ages, shapes, and sizes. And thanks to Buster, I will always have a soft spot for Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, and Boxers (read: dogs with smooshed noses)!

11/10 Two paws up. Would recommend. Gina was without a doubt the best dog sitter. She treated my pup like her own, and her attentiveness shown through. I was most impressed with her kindness. Gina was patient with a younger doggo, and she was firm when needed yet forgiving as well. I felt confident from drop-off to pickup knowing my dog would receive Gina’s utmost care and attention. Much appreciated!
Prompt, professional, trustworthy - not to mention, dogs love her! It is very obvious Gina cares deeply about the health, happiness and safety of all animals. I trust her completely with my babies, plus she is the one person who can actually tire out the most energetic of dogs.

As an ultra runner I log some serious miles training for my races, which means I have the capacity to work with high energy dogs who need a true workout in order to feel satisfied, prevent destructive behavior, or stay trim. That being said, I always keep the pace and distance appropriate for each individual dog and am happy to work with smaller, slower-paced, or senior dogs. Some favorite trails to bring along my furry companions include Bear Canyon, Sourdough Canyon, and Hyalite Canyon.
