Hi, I’m Gina and I’m here to help you with your pet-sitting needs! I was inspired to join Rover because I grew up with dogs, I love taking amazing care of my own furry friends, and I would like to support those who can’t always be there for their pets because of work and other responsibilities. I understand the importance of trusting another person with your dog and I promise to go above and beyond when caring for your pup! What makes me different from your standard pet sitter? I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and I understand how to communicate with my clients in a way that instills confidence and trust in my abilities. I am loyal, compassionate and personable, and I don’t want you to worry about anything when it comes to your pet! My teaching style focuses on positive reinforcement and I am a very involved and supportive sitter. Additionally, my schedule is flexible—I’m home most of the day and have plenty of time to walk and hang out with your dog so he will never be lonely! I have the most experience with small and medium breeds but I am open to caring for all types of pups! When your pup is under my care, you can be rest assured that I’ll treat them exactly as if they were my own fur baby. I love to learn about your pup’s daily schedules and regimens; as dogs are creatures of habit, adhering to what they’re used to at home is a great way to make them feel safe and happy. Likewise, I’ll always send lots of updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! I’m always very responsive with my communication and can be reached at any time if any questions or concerns may arise.

Gina is an amazing pet sitter! My french bulldog puppy is always taken care of, happy, and tired after her walks with Gina. She will send pictures throughout the walk so I could see how she was doing. She is very flexible on the timing and also picking up and dropping off for puppy daycare. Her house is great, with a fenced in back yard. I feel totally comfortable when Gina walks Eloise and I know she is in great hands. Overall, fantastic service. Thanks Gina!!

A typical day
Your dog will be joining our family home in Bloomfield, New Jersey. We have a fenced in yard and the neighborhood is very quiet. My partner might join in caring for your pup when she is home on the weekend, and we would be sure to go on walks through the neighborhood as well as the dog park (if you are okay with that). In the warmer months, we will explore the local shrubs and flowers where my own dogs like to chase birds and sniff around. I promise your pup will be treated like one of the family when he joins us!
