Pet care experience
I started a pet sitting business 25 years ago in Virginia and opened a second branch in Melbourne, Florida after I moved there. That business is still managed by my co-owner. I have personal experience caring for senior dogs. I had two senior rescue pups in my home for 3+ years. I'm open to boarding almost 7 days a week as well as providing services in your home I love St. Pete and the dog friendly community. I'm also a lover of the outdoors and exercise and will not shy away from long walks! Of course, cats are always welcome too. With my experience, I am happy to make you and your pet feel comfortable and safe in their own home or mine. I have two teenagers that love active doggy care. I have a good sized home with a fenced in back yard.

I typically only host one "family" at a time so your pet will be part of the family; not a boarding facility. I have a single family home with a fenced in yard, and living pretty central St Pete allows the flexibility to travel to your home as well.

Because I believe in dog walks and not just letting them in the yard, I have to be restrictive to caring for smaller dogs (typically under 50 pounds). I am comfortable administering medication but would like to know ahead of time. Your dog will be part of the family when staying at my home.
A typical day
The more active, the better! I live an active lifestyle and hope to spend time outdoors with your dog. If your pup has a favorite spot, let me know. I have a safe quiet neighborhood where we can take lots of walks!
