Pet care experience
Hi there! I am new on Rover, but I have 20 years of pet care experience, from taking care of my own dogs to fostering several dogs and cats throughout the years. I love all breeds and sizes, and would love to take care of your furry friend! I will make sure to give your pup/cat the TLC she or he needs while you’re away, including ample exercise and play time. I’m also happy to reinforce any training that you may be working on. It is extremely important to me is that your pet is safe and has a consistent environment. You can be sure that your pet is in great hands and will be given all the love while you’re away! :) I’m happy to answer any questions you may have so please reach out!

My English Bulldog Otis absolutely adores Gina. He is very lazy by nature, but when Gina comes over to walk him her playful energy motivates him to get up and head downstairs for a walk. Gina is not afraid to get down on the floor and play, and Otis loves rough-housing with her. Gina is reliable and a true pet-lover!!
Gina has watched Haru, a 2 year old maltese, multiple times with stays ranging from one night to two weeks. She has a natural ability to connect with dogs and shows them incredible amounts of love and care. Haru was taken on multiple walks a day as he loves going outside and was rarely home alone. She gave consistent updates while I was traveling and I never felt worried that Haru was not adjusting well.

I don't have my own yard so will take your pup on walks around the neighborhood with whatever leash/collar preference that you have. If needed, I have crates and play pens to separate my dogs for resting time. I'll provide updates throughout the day to make sure your pet is in good hands.

A typical day
I have many puzzles, toys and games for the dogs at the house, but I'm happy to take your dog(s) to the nearby park to get in some good sniffs and exercise. On weekends, I love to take the dogs out on hikes or to the beach, but can adjust to your dog's energy level. I typically avoid dog parks, but can take your dog to them if you'd prefer.

Availability
I work fully from home so I'm flexible with my daily and weekly routine. In terms of exercise, the typical routine is a short morning walk, a longer afternoon walk or play time at the park, and a short evening stroll, with play sessions in between.
