I have had a small maltese mix (Daisy) in my family for 6 years now, and I raised my now 85 lb lab/shepherd mix (Indy) from puppyhood while I was in college. I raised Indy since he was 8 weeks so I have good puppy experience and am very used to all of the typical puppy needs. Indy is a high energy, strong dog that taught me all the challenges and joys of having a dog to call my own. My dog care experience prepared me for all ranges of age and size of dogs! I have lots of experience dog sitting and house sitting when I was in college and grad school- and also lots of experience with senior dogs, giving medication, and physical disabilities.
