Pet care experience
I am a student at the U of S studying animal bioscience and I also work at a pet store, I have been caring for my own pets since I was just a young girl and I also take care of family and neighbours pets as well. I care deeply for each and every animal I know and I promise to treat them like the queen or king they are and make sure they have the best time hanging out with me!

What makes Gillian uniquely qualified to be a pet sitter and a dog walked is her absolute love for all animals. Gillian spent time on her grandfather’s farm growing up and it spurred an inner desire for her to care for pets deeply. She is attuned to the needs of animals and is especially fond of cats and dogs. Having grown up caring for animals her whole life, having a cat herself, working in the pet care industry and taking formal education for animal science/animal care make Gillian truly unique for the task.

I treat my own cat like an absolute princess but teach good behaviour. As someone who has been taking a degree studying animals, I know plenty about them. I also work at a holistic pet store where I am able to get good food and supplements to provide the best quality care for my pets and the pets around me. I also love to teach tricks to animals and help them to have some mental playtime as well!

If there are any behaviours I should know of ahead of time please let me know, also if your dog reacts strongly around other dogs or animals on walks I would love to know just to be prepared.
A typical day
As I mentioned previously, I have a passion for teaching dogs and cats tricks as it is intellectually stimulating for the animal and they enjoy the challenge. I also love to play with dogs and take them for walks and runs.
