Pet care experience
Hello! I’m a dog mom to Murphy, Maggie, and old man Stan. I am really easy going and will do my best to cater to you and most importantly, your pet's needs! I have a full time job during the week, but I am available on the weekends for when you want to get away or will be carting your kiddo to their soccer game, karate practice, and whatever else you do! I am available to do drop in's 3-4 times per day (or whatever works for you) and will be sure to give your pet tons of love and attention while I'm there in addition to a walk. I have experience with puppies all the way up to my own senior dog, Stanley. I can't wait to meet your pet!

But the minute I met Gillian I knew I could trust her. She took wonderful care of my home and my animals and I would hire her again in a second. Thank you Gillian.
Gillian was great! She seemed comfortable right away, and my pets loved her. She stayed at my apartment and I felt entirely comfortable with that. She sent updates 1-2 times per day with pictures. I have an Australian Shepherd who is very picky about who she likes, and who needs extra time and attention due to her breeds energy level. She loved Gillian and seemed very happy. I would highly recommend her and am happy to give a reference if anyone wants more details!
Gillian instantly connects with any pet I have ever seen her meet and has a caring love for animals I believe is truly unique. She has a passion for taking care of pets and would make a trustworthy caretaker for anyone's four legged best friend.

Let me know your dog's personality - are they timid around strangers, are they leash reactive? If they are, that just means I will take extra steps when caring for them. Do they prefer calm snuggles, or exciting playtime? In addition, let me know if they require any medication or have special needs.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I cater to their needs! My own dogs are very different with one loving to play with toys, have zoomies, and play ball. The other is content to lounge and cuddle up next to me. Whether your pet has oodles of energy or just wants to be loved on, I can deliver!

Availability
I live in Alexandria and work in Arlington during the week. I have free time each weekend to take care of your pets! For my own pets, Murphy LOVES to play his version of fetch, so I make sure to get some tennis ball time with him each day. Maggie just enjoys sun bathing and roaming.
