Hi there! I hear you're looking for someone trustworthy to help care for your precious fur babies while you're away. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Gillian! I am 26 years old and I'm a photographer/photo editor which means I work mainly from home and my work schedule is very flexible. No 8 hour days in the office for me which is very good news for your pets!

My boys LOVE Gillian. I have a foster dog who can be reactive. She is fantastic at managing him and he absolutely adores her. The second I say "Gillian" he rushes to the door to wait for her, tail wagging. My other boy is a senior dog who takes his time with things and can be a little indifferent, but he loves her too. Thank you so much, Gillian for always doing a fantastic job with my babies!!
Gillian was wonderful with our new pup, Charlee. She sent photos and videos showing how settled Charlee was, which took a juge load off our minds. She left our house spotless. Will definetely be using her services again. Thanks so much Gillian!!!
Gillian was fantastic with our two cats, making sure they were well cared for while I was traveling for work. She did all the normal things like feeding them, changing water and cleaning litter, plus gave my one cat the energetic play time he needs. I would definitely book with Gillian again!

Of course house-sitting includes looking after the actual house as well: bringing in mail, taking out recycling, watering plants and cleaning up after myself. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, rabbits, turtles and ducks. I can't wait to meet you and your pets!

My goal is to keep your pet's schedule as close to what they're used to as possible! I'd love to know what their day typically looks like, their favourite places to go for walks, and their favourite treat. Also I know that good habits are hard to set but easy to break so please tell me if there are any house rules I should know about (ie. dogs not allowed on furniture etc.), or anything specific you're working on so I can continue to maintain training while you're gone. In order for me to take the best possible care of your four-legged friend, I'm going to ask what special traits make your pet unique! Are there any specific behaviours I should know about? Allergies, medications, special needs? I can't wait to learn all about them!
A typical day
I love playing fetch (as long as I'm not the one fetching!), working on training, and finding new places to explore and go on walks and hikes!

I've been dog-sitting and house-sitting for two years now. I absolutely adore spending time with animals, going on adventures and learning all about their unique - and sometimes very quirky - personalities! I love going on W-A-L-K-S (🤫) and giving lots of snuggles. I believe caring for a pet is a huge responsibility and I don't take that lightly; I'm trained in First Aid and CPR for dogs and cats and their wellbeing is my first priority. I do all I can to make your fur babies feel comfortable and safe with me and I want my stay to be as little an adjustment as possible for them and for you.
