Reviews
Gillian has done it again! Her pictures are literally the best I have ever received and she sends them regularly enough that I feel like I still have a good idea of what’s going on in my pup’s life. I LOVE taking Logan to Gillian’s house and he loves it too. Unless the stars aren’t aligning, I won’t board with anyone else.
Gillian really helped us in a pinch! We had a medical emergency and she was able to take care of our big baby, looks like he had loads of fun with new friends as he came back home like a kiddo from a sports trip. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating.
Gillian was awesome!! She took wonderful care of my son’s fur baby. We will definitely use her in the future
Treated my dogs like her own! Sent lots of pictures, kept us updated the whole time, very knowledgeable about dogs and was very accommodating! They had a great time - if you’re visiting Fort Worth, highly recommend Gillian!

I work from home and have the ability to accommodate scheduling as needed for any pets needs. A typical day in my house consists of potty breaks early in the morning, and a chance to run off a bit of energy before coming back inside to eat breakfast, then evenings are all about playtime. I have 3 dogs that love to play and have different play styles to best match the play style of your pet. Pets can be crated upon request!

Information Gillian F. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know if your pet is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, crate trained, housebroken, what their daily routine looks like, and their favorite activity.
A typical day
My neighborhood only has one entrance/exit, so we can go for calm, quiet walks through the neighborhood without much noise, or use that time as an opportunity to do on-leash training! I live in close proximity to multiple dog parks and recreational parks where we can go play with other dogs, play fetch, or spend time sniffing all the plants and foot prints of previous park-goers. When at home, I like to give the dogs an equal part of play time with me (using rope toys, tennis balls, and time to play with other dogs) as well as play time on their own using tools for enrichment such a snuffle mats, pupsicles (wet food or kibble mixed with water frozen into a hard toy such as a Kong), and scent tubes. I do not allow dogs that I watch to have rope toys, stuffed toys, or treats unsupervised.

Ex-military dog handler turned soft in the world of animal welfare! I initially began my career working with animals when I was in the Navy. Shortly after coming home, I began working at the shelter in my home town, and have since been promoted to a few different positions within the facility. Going from working with military working dogs to animals that have little to no training was a shell-shock to say the least. But it helped me see the animals for what they were, instead of what they could be, and I went from the mindset of getting them to adapt to me, to me adapting to them. I quickly found my passion working with animals that had behavioral issues, working endlessly to help them past their trauma. I attended a mentorship where I learned skills on how to enrich the lives of dogs, as well as how to successfully get dogs into playgroups on a daily basis while ensuring I had the knowledge to identify different body language cues that would allow me to step in and correct issues before they escalated. I obtained certification to be a Certified Shelter Behavior Consultant (CBC) for both dogs and cats so that I could have a well-rounded image of how to help our entire population. I have fostered 8 cats and 8 dogs since my time at the shelter, focusing on the ones that needed help they just couldn’t get from a shelter setting. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I enjoy the opportunity to show pets new things, as well as give them the opportunity to work on some skills they’ve needed to perfect, or just be there to cuddle them while you’re away.
