Gillian moved in with me several months ago and has been absolutely lovely. I have a Doberman/Mastiff mix and she’s been wonderful in helping me take care of him. I never worry about him when I’m not home. She makes sure he’s always fed on time when I’m at work, always has fresh water, and even offers to walk him for me. More than just the basics, she plays with him all day long and loves him just like he’s her own. She looks after him and notices changes within his behaviour if something’s wrong, and is quick to let me know if I’m not home. I truly have peace of mind when he’s in her care. I haven’t trusted anyone with him as much as I do with Gillian. Gillian is also very friendly and polite when interacting with everybody, respects others’ privacy, and cleans up after herself. I would very highly recommend her!
I have watched Gillian take care of her childhood pets for her entire life. We owned a Golden Retriever, Buddy, for 15 years and welcomed a Yellow Lab, Cali, into our family in 2019. Buddy lived to be 16 years old and towards the end of his life had problems with his hips. Gillian was always very patient with him and helped support him through this so she would be good with any senior dogs on Rover. We adopted Cali as a puppy so Gillian is very capable of taking care of and helping to train puppies as well. I have since moved out of our home and have my own dog. Gillian often lets her out for me while I'm at work and takes care of her while I am away on vacation. Overall, Gillian loves all animals and is a very responsible and caring pet owner.

Any special needs, I will do my best to accommodate! I am not used to taking care of special needs dogs, but do have a special needs uncle I used to take care of! I am willing to take on anything, special needs just makes them even more special!
A typical day
I will play in the sun or snow with a dog, I don’t mind cold weather conditions. I will get a workout in, as well as your pup, it can be beneficial for us both! I like to make sure the pups and I get our steps in!
