I grew up with at least 3 cats at a time and loved them all but I knew I was a dog person from the moment we got our first dog growing up (a Chihuahua named Colonel as he looked like a popcorn but was a gift from our grandfather). I have a deep adoration to animals and always joke that I greet animals before I greet humans because I simply love them all. I've had a few clients outside friends and family like my sisters two snauzers (sp) and one long term client who was the librarian at my highschool. A big sheep dog with a heart of gold. I myself own a must I saved from the pound who is a Rottweiler mix named Sapper (military term haha i did not name him) and my boyfriend who I live with has a female mut named Volley who is an american terrier type? They both are very sweet and both have one minor flaw (who doesn't!). Sapper is a nervous nipper when introduced to people/ at the door so he wears a muzzle just for when he meets someone new. He is a big old wuss and has had zero trouble or encounters with any dog or child. Volley unfortunately has a strong hatred for cats. She has been able to be in a room with a kitten but she was very uncomfortable the whole time. So we just avoid cats in this house :)
