I've trained, grown up with, and loved my Australian shepherd for 8 years, and I love being around all great dogs. I've trained him from when he was 8 weeks old, and he has become the favorite animal (my mom refers to him as her favorite son) in our family. He was potty-trained, how to sit, shake, roll-over, come when called and how to play fetch on my watch, and I attribute my training skills with a consistent rewards system thanks to what Psychology refers to as Pavlov's dog study. I love being around Bailey and dogs in general because they are the most emotionally-aware animals, and they understand so much without even having to communicate. In addition to caring for Bailey, I love being outside and running around with puppies to ensure proper exercise and interaction with other people/animals. It's important for the animal's well-being to not spend too much time stuck in an apartment, and the proximity to McCarren Park offers a great, dog-friendly location for pups and dogs alike to run around and get some form of exercise for a couple hours a day. I really enjoy walking and exploring the city, and I'd love any form of company to join me on long excursions along the canal.
