I am a writer who works from home and loves having canine company. I limit the number of dogs I care for, which means your pup will not be stressed or overwhelmed as in many boarding places. I relish taking a break to play, take walks and steal a doggie cuddle or two. There is a nice, big, screened-in porch in the back of the house that overlooks a large yard. Though we are mostly inside to enjoy the AC, especially in the hot summer months, I like to take the dogs into the screen room with me to enjoy the afternoon breeze and toss a ball around. I also like to take frequent walks...and the tree lined streets in the neighborhood offer shade and cooler temperatures. My single-level house is great for older dogs, and dogs that have arthritic knees or hips. No steps to climb. I go for morning walks and evening walks but adjust for dogs that need a different schedule. My schedule is flexible (best perk of being a writer). Having dogs around actually helps me by reminding me to get up and take a walk frequently! I love dogs and care for each one as if it were my own. They are inside, usually right by my side. If your dog needs to be crated at night or for anxiety, please bring their crate (I don't have crates as I normally allow dogs free inside my home). I can also give medication, and provide doggy baths for a fee. ***Please note: I do not take pit bulls, rottweilers, or similar large breeds...love them, but just more than I can handle safely.***
