Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since before I could walk! I grew up with large, high-energy dogs and I have a cattle dog mix of my own. I just moved to Indiana for grad school, so unfortunately my dog has stayed at home with my parents in California while I settle in. To ease the pain of separating from my furry child, I will spend time with YOUR furry children between classes. I am firm, patient, and willing to take your dog on long walks or hikes. No more bored puppies destroying your shoes! . I am a good reader of dog dispositions and willing to earn the trust of even the shyest pooch. Personable, easy to communicate with, reliable, and always on time. I can transport dogs to hiking trails or dog parks within reason. Available weekends and weekday evenings or lunches in central Indianapolis area, subject to availability. A note if you have other animals; I also have experience taking care of cats, horses, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Please call if you have any questions!

Gigi did very well while we were out for our wedding. She's stayed with the animals overnight and let them warm up to her on their own terms.
Gigi was wonderful I was able to get her to dog sit at the last minute. We were in Santa Barbara for a family wedding and my dogs did not do well in the hotel by their selves I found Gigi on rover at 11:00 pm Friday night and she was able to be here the very next day. She was a savior and my babies were happy and calm, we had a fantastic time at the wedding thanks to Gigi.
Gigi is fantastic! She took wonderful care of cat and even checked in with us and sent pictures. We highly recommend her :)
Gigi was great! Her and Pepper seemed to have a great time, and Gigi was super responsive whenever I texted and very accommodating. I think our apartment and our pup were well taken care of for the weekend!

Since I’m renting, I cannot care for your pets in my home overnight. However, I do have a fenced yard so short outdoor daycare is ok. The yard has grass but no shade. For housesitting, I can stay as long as needed and generally am home evenings and weekends. I don’t have any pets of my own to care for now, so all my attention can be focused on yours.

Good to know: attitude towards other strange dogs or cats, vocal command response, favorite games, any health problems, behaviour on/off leash, dietary restrictions, any triggers in the environment such as squirrels/bikes/children, ect
A typical day
We can go around the block, dog parks in the area, hiking or walking trails, or any other suggested activities. I’m new to the area, so open to ideas! If you have your own yard, we can play fetch or tug of war from the comfort of home. If you need a petsitter to be present all weekend for a dog with separation anxiety, I’m a good pick! I have a lot of studying on my plate, but that can be achieved anywhere there is internet (so at your house, with your animals, all weekend long if needed).

Availability
I have class at Butler university from approximately 8 am until 4pm Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch at midday. I am free all weekend pretty much every weekend.
