Pet care experience
Big or small, I've trained, walked, fed, nursed and loved them all! I grew up training/showing dogs in obedience classes and as a 4-H dog project junior leader. I've worked as a veterinary nurse and as a humane society volunteer and, somewhat more exotically, at the Mystic Aquarium, Marine Mammal Center and San Francisco and Oregon zoos. Can administer oral, topical and injectable medications as needed. Certified in Canine CPR. I ALWAYS know the names of all my dog and cat neighbors (probably before I know the names of their humans, admittedly). Personal minder to a golden retriever named Cooper, a ragdoll cat named Marshall and Marshall's cat Quinn. I look forward to meeting your furry companion! I have experience with hesitant or reactive dogs as well and I'm happy to take your lead if there are any training techniques you are currently using with them. I like to know all the little details about likes/dislikes/habits, and I prefer to let the dogs choose their own walking route and take their time smelling the roses; it's their playtime, after all.

Gibson is truly a dream dog sitter! She genuinely cares about animals, has a calm demeanor toward which dogs and cats seem to naturally gravitate, plus the medical knowledge as a former veterinary technician to give me peace of mind knowing that she can tackle any health questions or emergencies that might come up. I'm not sure that I know anyone who loves animals as much as she does. She will notice and get to know all of your pets' unique needs, wants, and personality quirks, and treat them like her own. Reliable, friendly, communicative, and quality pet care at its finest.
As long as I have known her, Gibson has always gone the extra mile to ensure that her furry charges are comfortable, happy, and well-cared for. She is extremely reliable and absolutely trustworthy. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants the best for their pets.
Gibson is by far one of the most caring individuals I know. I worked with her for over a year at a veterinary clinic where she consistently went above and beyond expectations when it came to pet care. It was our job to ensure the safety and well-being of any dogs, cats or other animals boarding at our hospital or receiving surgical treatment that day, and I knew every pet was in good hands with Gibson looking after them. Gibson is an amazing dog walker and pet-sitter, whom I know others will love and appreciate as much as I did. She has ample experience with pet care and I promise, she will not disappoint!
