Pre-Vet Major and Dog Sitter
Pet care experience
Hey! My name is Gianna and I have worked at an animal hospital as a vet tech for 6 months, am a relief foster for service dogs in training, and has been a dog sitter for 4 years. I’m 20 years old, and I’m currently a senior at University of Massachusetts Amherst as a pre-vet major. Last summer I had an internship under a wildlife rehabilitator, which was awesome. Animals are a huge passion of mine, and spending time with them is what makes me happiest. I love all animals, but I feel that I have the best relationships with dogs. My biggest priority is to keep your pets happy, healthy, and cared for. I love to entertain them and have as much playing time as possible. There’s nothing I’d love more than to meet your dogs, so please reach out!
Reviews
She was great! Send updated pics and texts about my dog!! Def will be be booking again!
Gianna is so sweet and calm; I would leave my dog with her anytime. I don't usually leave my dog with other people but I was very comfortable leaving her with Gianna and my dog was very comfortable going with her.
Gianna was great! My dog can be nervous and stressed, but I could see from the daily pictures Gianna sent how she relaxed more as the days passed. Gianna's roommates were also very friendly and our dog liked them a lot too. My dog came home tired and happy!
Gianna is great! She was able to help me out on fairly short notice. She was on-time, sweet with my gentle pup, and let me know how her walk & visit went. I'll contact her again if/when I need help!

Safety, trust & environment
As an owner of a dog and a relief foster for service dogs in training, I understand the stress of putting your dog under someone else’s care. However, with my experience and love for dogs, there is no need to worry! Walking, playing, feeding, and even taking them on drives to parks is what I love to do!

Information Gianna S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has a certain illness or situation that may affect his behavior. I’d like to know if they display any aggressive or distressed behaviors before seeing them. Thanks!
A typical day
Keeping your dog’s physical and mental health in check is my priority. Let me know what physical activities you normally do with your pets, and I will do my best to keep up with them.

Availability
This spring I will be taking a 9-9:55am class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday, I also have a class from 11:30-1:25pm. Other than my classes and extracurricular activities, I will be available to care for your pets! Please check my calendar to see what days I have marked available. I also like to know a little bit in advance for a request (2 days would be nice). Other than that, I’m pretty lenient!
