My name is Gianna. I'm 18 years old and I'm a senoir at Poway High School. I have always been an animal lover. I had two golden retrievers when I was a toddler and pet rats. I loved spending time with them and caring for their needs. I now have a little multi poodle named Macee who loves belly rubs and spreading happiness. My love for animals has led me to the interest of become a veterinarian. Junoir year I was in a Vet Science class at Poway High School where I learned how to care for animals and do veterinary procedures. I have also worked in the UC Davis Veterinary School Emergency Clinic on the graveyard shift as a volunteer. I would love to gain more experience taking care of animals so I can be sure I want to pursue a career as a veterinarian. I would also like to earn money so I can learn how to be more independent.
