Hi there! My name is Gianna, and I am a cat savvy human with over 30 years of combined personal and professional pet care experience. I grew up with cats and dogs, and learned how to care for companion animals from an early age. I currently have three cat companions (two seniors and one adolescent). I am also the regular pet-sitter for about 4-5 of my friends when they go out of town. Professionally, I volunteered with PAWS Cat City for 6 years as a CatCare Assistant, which included: feeding, cleaning cat condos, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, documenting behavioral, health, and eating habits, socializing kittens and shy cats, and assisting with administering medications. I have experience giving pills to dogs and cats, applying transdermal medications, applying flea medication, trimming nails, giving medication through an inhaler for asthmatic kitties, leash training, and giving subQ fluids. I also have experience interacting with formerly feral, shy, and “spicy” kitties. :) I also love going on walks, so walking dogs is especially fun for me. We will explore parks and different areas of the neighborhood with plenty of sniff and potty breaks!
