I grew up in a family that has provided shelter and love for animals since I was a child. My first friends were shelter dogs, cats, raccoons, birds. My first responsibilities were caring for all our adopted animals. Waking up early before school to make sure our dogs were walked, fed, and played with to trimming nails, bathing, and teaching proper commands were daily requirements. When I was 16 I began working locally with neighbors in the care of their pets. I provided overnight pet sitting, feeding, playtime, exercise, and companionship to their pets in their absence along with daily reports on their mood, energy, eating habits, etc. Skills: Empathizing to behavior and mood changes, clear communication, prioritized safety, understanding, careful observation to detail, energy.
