Furry Clients a Must!
Pet care experience
After settling in my new home in Sacramento I'm finally ready for some furry business! I'm a bay area transplant who had been surrounded by many dog and cats forever and decided after going thru cancer and treatment I might as well be around what brings me happiness. Thats when I found Rover.com and started a full blown business watching pets in my home, in clients homes, check in visitations and dog walking. Since then I made a 90+ mile leap to Arden-Arcade on my own in my little house with my two dogs, my son's dog, one foster dog and three cats. About me: As an big Dog Lover I give the best care I possibly can to all the dogs in my home. I give lots of praises, petting, combing and attention to all dogs. I enjoy interacting and walking with them. I spend most of my time outdoors during the summer months with my own canine companions. {You should know that I am one of those who turn away from those ASPCA commercials because it breaks my heart knowing there are animals out there who have been neglected or abused and are in need of loving homes. I also use my fb page to feature shelter dogs who also are in search of new families.} In the past I allowed my furry guests to plop themselves on the furniture. I grew up in a home with dogs. My first memories interacting with a dog was with our family dog, Blondie... I was three. Together we would get on top of the kitchen table share sugar from the sugar bowl. There were other silly activities...I won't gross you with details however they were ways we bonded...sort of like siblings playing games together...ok, so I am actually part dog! I recognize that pets can be great for some free therapy!! There's been many times I'd walk into the house with a frown glued upon my face but in a second As I open the front door and am greeted by my girls I feel a sigh of relief and smile once again. Corny? My schedule as a check in sitter and walker usually is very flexible. At this time I can not accept any new boarders or day care doggies in my home however if I am employed to check in or walking dogs, cats or any other pets you may have I go beyond the time and duties required. Looking forward to providing y'all my services.

Gia was wonderful. I booked almost 2 months in advance and had never used Rover before. I was nervous about doing this. Prior to finalizing the booking, Gia stopped by the house so we could meet and make sure we were all comfortable. Then shortly before our vacation a friend wanted to housesit part of the time we were gone. It actually made us feel good knowing we always had a backup for our two cats. Gia came over the night before we left to meet our house-sitter and go over schedules. It worked out perfect and our cats were well taken care of. We really appreciated Gia’s flexibility working around the new schedule, and coordinating directly with our house-sitter. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing we had people we could trust.
Gia was very easy to communicate back and forth with - both with set up and during the time we were away. She provided care above and beyond what we asked for. Very reliable and trustworthy. Excellent working with her. Hope to have her back.
Gia is a lovely person, and very caring. She was on time every day to feed my cat. I will be asking her to help me out again.

I can take on any size canine for doggy care however for dog walking, as I'm a petite person, unless your dog is trained to use commands I can only walk a 40 ish lb dogs. Thank you for your understanding.

I'm relaxed with my dogs....there becomes a bond with my clients' furry children and me.we walk the neighborhood everyday. As long as weather permits we spend much time outdoors. I interact and talk to them...sometimes like they are human. :-)
