Pet care experience
I've had all kinds of pets in my life ever since I was a little girl. Growing up I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter back in Georgia and also did some foster care. I'm also currently working as a Kennel Technician at Animal Medical Clinic of Orlando for ten months. I am experienced in the special care of older pets and ones that need extra care due to disease or illness. One of my beloved dogs growing up, named Wendy, had a lot of health issues like back pain, seizures and later on cancer; I made sure she always took her medicine and that she felt loved and comfortable. I'll make sure to make other pet babies feel the same and treat them as I would treat my own.

it is always scary to put trust into someone you have not met and that goes both ways. Gertie was great. she came over and before we had to leave and immediatly bonded with my 3 dogs. she sent pictures and status of the pups daily. i would highly recommend her and will be usijg her again
Gertrude was absolutely wonderful with Rex! She sent updates and was very prompt to respond. Definitely, will trust her with Rex again.
Love how she is genuinely kind hearted and friendly , she takes great care of my two 10+ year old pit bulls and is very experienced . I simply recommend her as she is one of the best we’ve ever had . Thank you Gertrude (:
Gertrude grew up loving and caring for animals. She even volunteered her time at the Greater Savannah Humane Society. Well there she would care for the animals and took a variety of breeds for walks. When a pet felt or acted shy she would sit and comfort them.

I would not be able to have any pets over; but at my clients' house I will be willing to do whatever they are comfortable with me doing. I would make sure to let the dogs outside for a walk once I get there and make sure they have fresh water and food. If the dog(s) perhaps make a bit of a mess I would not mind cleaning up. I would do the same for cats, such as cleaning cat litters and give them fresh water and food. I would also make sure the fur babies feel safe and happy by playing with them, cuddling with them and petting them.

Will definitely need to know if they are dog aggressive, especially when I take them on walks and also any special medications and if they are good with taking medications. Any allergies that they may have or if they have any body aches or if they are blind and/or deaf. I'll be able to take care of all, it's just good to be aware ahead of time so I won't make them anxious.
A typical day
Back scratches, tummy rubs, throwing a ball, running and/or walk with them. Whatever they enjoy, I'll make sure I'll interact with them in such a way.
