Pet care experience
I have been a corgi breeder for 8 years. I spend my days raising and nurturing puppies of varying ages. I grew up in a rottweiler rescue, and spent the beginning of my career working as a veterinary assistant, and an animal control officer. I have worked all gambits of animal care, from Kennel technician to running one of the largest rescue departments in the country. I love to be surrounded by animals, and to be able to share our home and lives with them. If we're able to open our home to help other families be able to enjoy some time away from home, knowing their babies are safe and cared for, then that will add an additional sense of fulfillment to our lives!

Gerryleah did a wonderful job with our two dogs. She went above and beyond for us by picking up the dogs before our flight and dropping them off to us the evening we returned. The dogs are very spoiled so we were worried about how they would do but we received daily updates and pictures. They were so happy and relaxed. I highly recommend boarding your dogs with them!
GerryLeah's dog boarding facility exceeded our expectations! We drove in from Houston to drop off 2 of our dogs while we were on vacation. They were impeccably cared for, happy, and came home clean. We received regular picture updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. GerryLeah's attention to detail and genuine love for animals shines through in their service. Highly recommend!

We have a beautifully built "puppy room" with 4 separate runs - each 4ft wide x 5-6feet long. This room is temperature controlled (heat and AC) and is attached directly to our home - it is not a separate building. Overnight boarders will each have their own "rooms" where they will sleep overnight. During the day, they will have access to our main living areas (living room, kitchen, office etc, as well as a 1acre fenced area that is furnished with multiple large playground pieces.

we have dogs cats and horses here on the property. I can isolate boarded pets if needed, or they can be introduced to our pets and acclimated into our "pack" if they are staying for more than a few days at a time.
A typical day
We have 6 acres. 1 acre is fully fenced and clear - with LOTS of playground equipment for the dogs to play on. The back 4 acres is wooded, and tons of fun for hiking.
