Reviews
Our dog Monty was very well cared for and came back very relaxed and happy from his week long stay with Georgia in their lovely home and area. Georgia was relaxed about following his slightly complicated food routine. Would definitely arrange a stay again if possible and would recommend.
Lottie had a great time with Georgia - it was her first walk and she was immediately happy and at ease. Georgia was caring, confident and attentive - Lottie’s looking forward to her next visit!
Georgia looked after Toga for over 3 weeks. Toga is very selective with who she feels comfortable with (as are we!) and we feel she let's us know after her trial night and upon returning again to be dropped off. Here she was eager and very happy to see Georgia again, which reassured us immensely. For the entire stay, Georgia updated us regularly with photos, short videos and news. Toga was taken on walks alone and with other dogs she was introduced to, and only upon our consent to being walked with other dogs (Toga loves it). All in all, we are highly confident Toga enjoyed her stay, and was loved and cared for by Georgia and her partner alike. We will definitely choose Georgia again next time.
Georgia was an absolute superstar! She cared for our dog generously and provided us with a daily update. Her attention to details and how she takes the initiative to ensure both pet and owner are well looked after is totally unique to The rover’s app. We would definitely recommend Georgia and her save heaven for pets. She is both knowledgeable and practical and her space is one of the best we have seen. Our Chihuahua had a wonderful relaxed and enjoyable experience. Thank you Georgia!

I have a large, fully secure garden that stretches to the front of the house with a secure gate. Dogs that stay with me will have full access to this whenever they want, to play or explore. I go out with them when they are out there so I can monitor that they are up to and make sure they are not getting up to any trouble! We have 3 chickens that live in a secure coop at the back of the garden. Your dog will not have direct access to them, however, dogs with a strong prey drive will be put on a long line that I provide. This will not cut down the time they are out there and they will still be able to play and explore as much as they want. All cleaning products, food and any medications are unreachable in cupboards to prevent ingestion. We do have a crate and this can be used when they are sleeping or left alone if you would prefer. However, we never put dogs in there unless we are directly asked to by their owner. Dogs are allowed on the sofa and bed but will also have their own bed if they want their own space to relax and unwind. We have a pet fancy mouse called Toby who lives in a cage out of reach. However, he can be moved into another room if you would prefer or if we notice that your dog is a bit to interested in him! That being said, we have never had to do that and dogs that come here never pay much interest to him. We don't have any other dogs staying with us unless I have discussed with you before hand. This is perfect for nervous/reactive dogs. However, if your dog loves other dogs, I would be more than happy to bring them on any walks we may have with other dogs throughout the day/week. This will also be discussed before hand. On walks, your dog will be kept on lead unless I see that they have a strong recall and have discussed it with the dogs owner first. If they cannot go off lead but love to explore, we will put them on a long lead so that they can go wherever they want, safely.

Information Georgia M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know as much information as I can about your dog before I look after them. This helps me make sure that i am the right fit for your dog and that they go home happy and fulfilled! These are the things that are important for me to know ahead of time: - Can they be let off the lead and do they have good recall? - Do they have any medical conditions/allergies I should be aware of? - Are they reactive of anything on walks/in the house? Questions needed only for boarding/daycare: - Have they ever been away from you before? If yes, do they do okay? - Are they fully potty trained? - Are they destructive in the house? - What if their feeding schedule, including any medication?
A typical day
A typical day can look very different depending what dog we are caring for at the time. All dogs are different and have their own individual personalities and we try to make sure that the time they spend with us is as enjoyable for them as possible!
