I've been a serious dog lover since I can remember and have a beautiful Border Collie named Arlo, who really loves hanging out with the doggies who visit us, so your fur baby will be very welcome in our home! I live on the border of Barony Park, which Arlo and I visit every day for at least an hour, and we would love for your dog to join us. I live in a two storey home with an enclosed back garden, which is great for giving your doggo plenty of fresh air and play time. I also have LOTS of dog toys (pull/stuffed/squeaky/puzzles - you name it!) and treats (home made, 100% natural, lots of veg, and your generic dog biscuits) so rest assured there is plenty for your dog to snack on and play with 😊 we’ll also do lots of walking in the surrounding area (Barony Park, Riverside Loop, and Brookfield Park) So when your doggo goes home, they should be nice and tired and very happy (I always say a tired dog is a happy dog!) A few things to let you know: - day care is up to 10 hours ⏰ - as I live in a rented property, all dogs need to be properly toilet trained and not have a tendency for destructive behaviour or excessive barking 🐕 - please let me know of any allergies or foods that can make your dog unwell 🥕 - I will never let you dog off lead unless you say it’s okay (and I will take a long lead with me for the first time we’re out, just to be super safe!) and do let me know your recall words! 📣 - Your doggo will never be left alone whilst they’re with us! 🐕🦺🐩🦮 - I ask to always meet your dog in advance so Arlo can meet them too. As it’s her home, it’s very important she feels comfortable around your fur baby (and vice versa!) - If you have rules, I will make sure to use them too. Hannah enjoyed a wonderful stay with Georgia, and we were sent several cute photographs to show how pampered she was, and enjoying all the attention. Hannah will definitely stay with Geogia again !!!!

Canine visitors are welcome to roam our place and go out into the back garden as much as they like 😊 we have regular treat times plus a walk usually in the morning, a few hours during lunch, and a walk in the evening (depending on when your dog arrives!) fresh water is always available 😊 In the evening, I encourage doggos to settle - usually by lots of cuddles!! I am currently learning dog first aid. As a dog owner, Arlo is my world and I would expect a sitter to give her the best care and attention: so this is exactly what I expect of myself too!

A typical day
A typical day for me and arlo includes plenty of cuddles and strokes, at least an hour in the park playing catch, and play time with lots of toys and puzzles! We also do skills training and make sure to give treats throughout :)

Availability
I currently work from home at least three days a week, and can be flexible about when those days are. I work flexible hours, so can make sure your dog gets all the attention, physical, and mental stimulation that you would expect and want for your dog ☺️ Arlo also makes for very good company and loves to be cuddled up to, but also knows when to leave visitors to themselves if they like space!
