We are a small breeder/exhibitors of Great Danes since 1974 and we open up our home to a select few guest dogs. We offer in-the-house sleeping arrangements, plenty of outside play and romping time, and do not charge extra for personal attention and giving medications. Our long-term knowledge and love of giant breed dogs make us the perfect place for your dog to stay while you vacation. Dogs receive a free bath and nail trim after four days boarding. About this sitter: I have been involved in the care, showing and breeding of giant breed dogs since 1974 and my husband since 1964. Our long-term experience in large and giant breeds assures your dog will have care suited to his or her individual needs and tailored to the special requirements of big dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been actively involved in Great Danes since the purchase of my first one in 1974. Shortly after I got him, I became involved in showing, boarding and rescue. I've been active in all of these ever since then. We are well-known in the Dane community as both responsible breeders and excellent caretakers. About my yard We have five securely-fenced acres. Our perimeter and cross fencing is 5' chain link, with the fencing going into the ground. We have six large play areas in both grass and gravel. My experience administering medication Yes, and we also can provide care for dogs requiring care beyond simply giving medications. We can provide specialized care for dogs recouping from surgery and other veterinary events.

Georgia was fantastic! Our dog Oliver stayed at Daynakin while we got married. We had requested to pick him up briefly on our wedding day to take pictures with him and then drop him back off. Not only did she accommodate this but she did so while dealing with some personal things as well. What an amazing homey place! We couldn’t be more gratefull! Very much recommend Daynakin to anyone! You can tell Georgia has a lot of experience with dogs and Oliver responded very well to her!
So happy to have found Georgia! She is experienced with large breeds, VERY organized, and an excellent communicator. We live in downtown Seattle, but would rather drive to meet her than try anyone else closer. Penny always jumps right into Georgia's van! We get a happy, clean dog when we pick her up. The YouTube videos and "report cards" are a nice touch. Updates via text message during the first visit (we were super anxious dog parents) were also greatly appreciated!
Leaving my dogs with Georgia is an excellent experience. The dogs are well taken care of and have lots of fun. I loved the report card with their pictures on it letting me know how they did. I highly recommend her dog sitting service. She goes out of her way to make it a good experience for you and your dog.

We care for large and giant breeds (Lab-sized or over). We will, on occasion, accept small dogs if they live with a big one. We will accept intact dogs, bitches in season and dog-aggressive dogs. We will NOT accept human aggressive dogs. Prior to boarding, we like to know the dogs prior boarding experience so we can tailor care to his individual needs.
A typical day
