Pet care experience
I've always had dogs growing up in southern Virginia. I have taken care of my own pets for the past 10 years, I have a dog and a cat (that acts like a dog). My dog is not spayed, so I have experience with dogs in heat. If your dog is not neutered, I have experience monitoring behavior and separating the animals. My parent's dog is not neutered.

Looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter? Look no further! With years of dedicated pet care experience, George understands the importance of providing not just basic care, but genuine love and affection to your fur baby. Over the years, I’ve entrusted him to ensure my pet's well-being while away from home. Your pet's happiness and safety are his top priorities, be mindful… your dog will come back spoiled wanting more cuddles and access to the furniture and bed, lol. George will give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your beloved companion is in capable hands. He’ll ensure your pet feels loved and cherished every moment!
Seeking an experienced pet sitter? Look no further! With a deep love for animals and years of caregiving, George offers your furry friend not just attention, but genuine love and care. Your pet's well-being will be George’s priority, whether it's administering medication, going for walks, or simply providing cuddles to soothe an anxious animal. Rest assured your pet will receive the utmost care, love, and attention, making him the perfect choice for your pet sitting needs. George’s also has the friendliest doodle that played very well with my small shih tzu, not only was she gentle, but she stooped down to his level so they were on even playing fields.

I understand dog/cat behavior and know when to separate the animals. Moreover if you dog is crate trained, I will use that as their safe space whenever they may be anxious. If possible, please leave an item from home with your scent.

Information George W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs, need for medication, or if your dog is not crate or house (potty) trained. This information will help me prepare to best care for your animal.
A typical day
Typical day can be described as going on walks first thing in the morning, around lunch, after the workday (usually 5/6p) and then again before bedtime. During the after work walk on most days I will play a game of fetch or take an extended walk to get rid of some pent up energy. The best part of dog sitting is that my dog and the guest dog will typically play most of the day.

As a loving parent of a goldendoodle, pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I am able to work remotely on most days so I can be flexible with my dog walking schedule. Most mornings start with fresh water and fresh food and a walk. I usually walk my dog again during lunch and then after the work day is over in the evening.
