Pet care experience
I grew up caring for my parents’ 3 labradors, as well as various co-worker’s dogs, horses, and cats since I was in the 4th grade. What sets me apart from other sitters is my personality, my positive energy towards animals, and that I’m with them almost all of the time since I work remotely. The only other obligation I have at the moment is a Saturday class from 12:30-2pm. I always spend overnight with your pet/s and I wait until your flight actually lands until I leave unless you prefer me to be there upon arrival, I’m happy to do that as well. I can send as many or as few updates of your fur baby as you like. I care for your pets by your own standards. Please share with me their habits and preferences and I’ll care for them as you do. Regarding your sanctuary - I’ll also take care of it and respect it as you do. Just let me know about your space and what’s off limits for your pup/kitty. When you send me a home stay request, my first question is if you smoke in your home since I’m allergic. Secondly, does your dog have any sorts of food aggression to your other pets or does he/she counter surf when I’m preparing food in the kitchen? How does he/she handle corrections? After hearing about your expectations, we should schedule a “meet and greet” sooner rather than later. This way our time isn’t held hostage, I can figure out my calendar, and you can have a confirmed sitter you’re happy with sooner. If you’re unsure about anything, please just ask. Having a stranger take care of your loved one and also in your own sanctuary can seem stressful - I get it. Help me understand what’s important to you and I’ll do it.
Reviews
George is one of, if not the best house and pet sitter we have had in our 30+ years of having someone come to our home over boarding. It can be a challenge feeling at ease on a trip when your fur babies are not with you, and George really does take the care that you would for your pets. From the many pictures of play and the walks to the updates, he went above and beyond. We also had a flight delay and he was flexible and available for us. What a relief! We can't recommend him higher and appreciate having someone that genuinely cares for animals. Thank you!
George is the best! Briggs always has the best time and the house is clean and tidy upon return!
George is the best sitter we’ve had! Our dogs were walked more than we do even. We got lots of pics daily. When we got home there were actual physical pictures and the house was so clean. I will definitely use again!
Left Briggs for the first time with George and he had a blast. I appreciated all the updates and pictures while I was away. George did a fantastic job!!!

Everyone’s needs are different and I’m more than happy to accommodate your furbaby’s needs. Don’t hesitate to ask and no judgments here. What’s important is that your dog/cat feels at home and at ease with me just as with you.
Information George T. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs like medication, vet services, emergency contacts, meal requests, dietary restrictions and instructions, special treats, etc. Again, please leave your pet’s routine/instructions on paper. What triggers your dog/cat? Other dogs, bunnies, squirrels, hiking poles, cyclists, children? Any unique behaviors? Any specific commands should I know about? Does your dog bolt out the door? Do I need to be aware of security cameras? Coordinate picking up/dropping off key? A lot of my clients have electronic door locks. Twice have I nearly been locked out since the batteries needed to be replaced or malfunctions. Do you have a backup way of getting in if you have an electronic lock?
A typical day
We’ll go for walks and play with your dog’s favorite toys. Will make sure your dog sleeps well and feels like your he or she gained a new playmate!

Availability
Since leaving my career I work part time remotely. During the week and mornings, I’m on Zoom and phone calls. This won’t hinder me from caring for your pet…just need to know his/her routines and I build that into my schedule. My goal is for your pet to be as comfortable and safe with me as he or she is with you and to follow your routines as you instruct. Having instructions prepared in advance helps me get answers quickly and I don’t have to bother you on vacation or at work.
