Pet care experience
Having been on the planet for many years I've had quite a few pets, mostly dogs. Dogs make me feel good and they have no hidden agenda. If they like you or don't like you, they let you know. I've only dealt with puppies a few times, but they're fine too. My last dog, Harold, passed a few years ago. Now, I only have a cat.

I try to engage the dog physically with toys. If the client wants a certain schedule or a particular route for our walks, I am happy to accommodate.

Availability
I retired about six months ago, but I feel I need more to do. Being a dog walker or sitter would be the perfect job for me. While I show my cat plenty of affection, most of my interaction with Tiger is usually with me in the role of his waiter and doorman. I am absolutely a dog person. Boarding dogs is sadly not an option for me
